How Much Sugar Is In A Can Of Red Bull?
By ANNE TAYLOR
Red Bull is a popular energy drink sold in many grocery stores and gas stations worldwide. While Red Bull can be a great way to get a needed energy boost, you probably shouldn't drink more than one per day or drink it every day due to the high amount of sugar it has.
One can of the original Red Bull Energy Drink contains 27 grams of sugar. While that may not seem like much, the American Heart Association recommends that men consume no more than 36 grams of sugar per day and women consume no more than 25 grams of sugar per day.
When you consume a large amount of sugar at one time, your blood sugar level rises rapidly, which will give you a short-term energy boost, but it can also lead to headaches and anxiety. It can also lead to weight gain, poor dental health, and an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
