Here's What Time Of Day You Should Really Weigh Yourself
By ZRINKA PETERS
Hormones, salt intake, irregular food consumption, or stress are some of the many reasons weight fluctuates, and weighing yourself regularly can give you a more accurate number. Consistency is the most important thing about weighing yourself, so you should always do it at the same time, in the same clothes, and using the same scale.
Most experts recommend weighing yourself in the morning after emptying your bladder and before eating or working out. To get the most accurate results, make sure your scale is on a hard flat surface and that you're standing solidly on two feet with your weight evenly spread.
As daily water fluctuations can drastically change your weight, experts recommend weighing in once a week for consistent results. People tend to weigh the most on Mondays, after a weekend's worth of indulging, and the least on Friday, after they've been eating healthfully and consistently all week, so the best time to weigh yourself is on Wednesday.
