The post featured a picture of Teresa lying in a hospital bed, wearing a mask and covered with a standard hospital blanket. Gia captioned the story, writing, "Such a trooper, I love you. Teresa's attorney, James J. Leonard, Jr., revealed in a statement to People that "Teresa was admitted to the hospital last night and had a non-cosmetic emergency procedure this morning." He continued, writing, "She is recuperating and is looking forward to a speedy recovery. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."
